The Kadex bed sensor basically detects whether a resident is in bed or not. This detection is realized by measuring the pressure exerted on the mattress.

False reports are hereby eliminated and the privacy of the resident is respected.

The bed sensor works on batteries and communicates completely wirelessly. A fixed positioning of the bed is therefore not necessary.

The bed sensor can also be supplied with BLE which allows the bed to be located indoors.
